As a highly sensitive person, an introvert, and an empath, I have always been aware of the energies of the universe swirling around me. As an adult trying to balance my roles as mother, wife, and a career as a disability advocate, was leading to an energetic overload. On my journey to finding inner peace and harmony I was introduced to crystals and the wonderful healing properties they have possessed since the beginning of time. The stones found their way into my pockets, always getting lost and sometimes found. To keep my stones from straying too far I began experimenting with techniques from beadwork to wire wrapping. I eventually landed on silversmithing. It is said when silver is used with gemstones, the metal retains and amplifies the qualities emitted by the stones. It will enhance the connection between the wearer and the stone, allowing for a gentle flow of energy between the two.

To learn the trade of silversmithing I became an apprentice to a local silversmith. The opportunity to learn in this environment allowed for one-on-one instruction where I was able to develop my own unique skill set. I am currently a member of our local Gem and Mineral Society where I have taken classes in lapidary and stone setting. Through workshops I continue to develop and strengthen the necessary skills to gain, maintain, and advance in this field.

I work out of my home studio in Talmadge, San Diego, and enjoy the process of creating pieces that are timeless, meaningful, and stylish.
