Our 2023 KTBA President, Megan Beauvais, put on another spectacular Talmadge Fourth of July Parade this year. Megan has been organizing this parade for the Talmadge community for many years and it has come to be a landmark event of Summer.
On a beautiful Thursday morning at 11am, the festivities began at the Talmadge Traffic Circle (intersection of Adams Ave & 49th St) with scores of attendees donning their most patriotic garb to celebrate the independence of our great country. After making community announcements and singing the national anthem, the parade commenced with residents along the mile-long route watching and waving flags from their porches and lawns. Community members and their pets, made their way along the parade route with noisemakers, scooters, bicycles, roller skates, power wheels, and more.
Thank you go all the community members who participated in the Talmadge Fourth of July Parade! We look forward to celebrating again in 2024!
