Our last business mixer of 2023 was hosted by KTBA Co-Secretary Roger Tso of RWM Home Loans, at his beautiful home in Kensington. The evening began with an icebreaker game called “Who Am I?,” a fun way for members to mix and mingle while testing their pop culture knowledge. El Borrego catered a fantastic selection of burritos and we were thrilled to have Rodnia, one of the owners, join us for sweeping sunset views on the outdoor terrace.

After member introductions, Roger gave an engaging presentation on the highly misunderstood topic of Reverse Mortgages, dispelling many commonly held myths and shedding light on the opportunities available to senior homeowners who are looking for funds to help cover medical expenses or simply enhance their new lifestyle on a fixed income.

Amanda Shelley, the KTBA Vice President, then shared some announcements including the opportunities for members to participate in and potentially sponsor one of our favorite events of the year, the Holiday Lights Bike Ride on December 17th.
