Mark your calendar for the 8th Annual Kensington Spring Walkabout on Saturday, May 9, 2026!

Celebrate spring with your neighbors at this FREE, family-friendly outdoor event in the heart of Kensington. Join us at Kensington Library Park from 2–5 PM for an afternoon of live music, local treats, and a fun walkabout adventure through our vibrant business district.

What to Expect

Start your afternoon by checking in at the KTBA booth in the park, where you’ll receive your event map and stamp card. Then set out on a leisurely stroll to visit participating businesses in the park and in Kensington Village.

Along the way, you’ll be welcomed with small treats, giveaways, and special surprises for all ages — making this a perfect spring outing for families, friends, and neighbors alike.

The Walkabout Activity (and Prizes!)

As you explore, collect stamps from participating businesses on your card:

• Visit all sponsor businesses to qualify for the Opportunity Drawing
• Visit all participating businesses to be entered into the Grand Prize Drawing

Before you leave, return to the KTBA booth to turn in your completed card. Prize winners will be announced by Sunday!

Live Music in the Park

Relax in the sunshine and enjoy a lively performance by talented young musicians from the Young Lion’s Jazz Conservatory, performing throughout the afternoon.

Come Make a Day of It

Bring the kids, invite a friend, and enjoy a relaxed spring afternoon outdoors discovering the shops and services that make Kensington special.
