Before the evening’s fireworks, neighbors dressed in red, white and blue at the Talmadge Traffic Circle (4900 Adams Ave) on Thursday, July 4th at 11 a.m. for an Independence Day celebration. The day started with a brief ceremony led by longtime organizer Megan Beauvais which included the National Anthem followed by a parade along the mile-long route where residents watched and waved flags from their porches and lawns. Several members of the Kensington Talmadge Business Association set up tables offering giveaway including free dance classes, iced tea, watermelon, and cookies for attendees to enjoy!
