Supporting Kensington and Talmadge Businesses Through Covid-19

When you are looking to shop, dine out, work on wellness, or consult a professional about financial, business, or health services—why not think local first? At the Kensington Talmadge Business Association (KTBA), we are passionate about supporting our community businesses, which is even more apparent during these times. So, we wanted to put together a resource for all of you—our Kensington-Talmadge community and San Diego neighbors—to continue to support community businesses even when the doors are closed.

Creative Ways To Support Your Community

These times are difficult, and that’s true for more than just our businesses, so if you cannot support right now through traditional avenues like online ordering, donating, or perusing shops, you can still offer support.

One of the best ways to show your favorite local business that you care is to leave a review. If you have experienced outstanding service with a Ken-Tal business, a review is worth its weight in gold (and it’s easy too)! You can head to reviewing platforms like Yelp or Google, or make a recommendation on Nextdoor, to let the world know that you experienced top-of-the-line service. You can also make some business owners do a happy dance by simply following them on social media. Social media not only allows businesses to get to know you, but you will also be informed of all changes as they happen.

Beyond that, buying gift cards for future use, or supporting businesses that can stay open at some capacity is a wonderful way to stay involved. Below is a list of our local companies categorized by how you can support them during this time.
