The 9th Annual KTBA Holiday Lights Bike Ride was a huge success drawing 300 riders and participants! We had 15 local businesses come out to provide free activities, giveaways, and opportunities for some incredible prizes! All of this in the name of supporting local businesses and getting to know our community in Kensington and Talmadge. This was our final event of 2023 and we were thrilled to have such overwhelming support!

The Route
This year we hosted two routes:
- The 3-mile Full Ride is perfect for comfortable bike riders and people who would like to take a faster-paced ride around the neighborhood.
- The 1.75-mile Family-Friendly ride is a slower-paced ride required for those 8 years old and under, but open to anyone.
The House Decoration Prizes
We awarded prizes to the top 3 best-decorated houses along the route.
- First Place: 4110 Palisades – $50 Gift Certificate to El Borrego Restaurant (donated by El Borrego)
- Second Place: 4179 Middlesex – Bottle of Champagne (donated by Edward Jones)
- Third Place: 5341 Marlborough – Historic Kensington-Talmadge Centennial Edition Book (donated by Megan Beauvais)
